View Full Version : Severe Weather
Three'sCompanyrules 06-24-2003, 02:00 AM This has been a bad week fro Severe weather in Nebraska, last night (Sunday Night) the weather was very nasty and very tragic as well:( in the town of Deshler Nebraska, they had atleast 7 tornadoes in the area, and there was 1 fatality, with is the first Tornado related death in Nebraska in 15 years,:( they guy was working in his garage and didn't hear the sirens going, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family, several homes and businesses were also badly damaged. Also Sunday night in the town of Aurora Nebraska they had hail about the size of a volley ball, it measurred 6' in diametor, plus to add to that the same area wich had the tornadoes got between 5 nad 10 inches of rain, wich caused some flooding. The town I live in got golfball sized hail and we had over an inch or rain last night. Tonight (Monday night) was more of the same we had tornadoes and large hail all over the state, we had some wind damage nad had several trees knocked down, and all the traffic lights have no power as of yet. Tomarrow we are supposed to get even more severe weather, with more large hail and more threats of tornadoes and flooding rains, we just can't seem to get a break from the severe weather, I just hope it all goes away soon, so we can get back to normal.

I know how it feels to be in a tornado. One came by my house last November and took down all of our trees, and our shed's. There awful, and I wish nobody had to live through them:(

Thats strange, that has happend here alot, we get lightning, thunder, but no rain especialy during our recent drought, our farmers out here can't get a break we are either dealing with a drought, or hail and flooding.

Yeah I know what you mean, we had a small tornado in 1993, and it just uprooted all the trees in our park, and that park hasn't been the same since, and it was such a beautiful park to. Just seeing the stories on the news and also what has happend already this week it make sme sad. :( They are predicting more severe weather for my area tomarrow I just hope and pray we avoid the rough stuff.
