View Full Version : Has anyone ever seen the Jackson 5 cartoon series from Motown?
Michael Jackson 06-23-2003, 03:01 PM Remember little Michael Jackson he had his own little cartoon seres after he was famous in 1970
the King of Pop can never be shunted out of media for some reason?
This is how young handsome man Michael Jackson was until his father beat the crap into him making him want plastic surgery to not look like him and unfortunately caught vitiligo

automatic princess 06-23-2003, 03:23 PM I never knew Jackson had his own cartoon.
I think a lot of things contributed to his plastic surgery, one of the main reasons was probably because of teasing. It's really sad.
Michael Jackson 06-24-2003, 03:12 PM Thankyou Cyberacer
I usually get lots of abuse expressing myself as a Michael Jackson Fan and thankyou for voting
Yes since the Jackson 5 needed promoting they made a Motown cartoon with child like adventures in the 70's.
They are really rare to find
Do you believe the child abuse allegation's made against Michael Jackson in 93:confused:
automatic princess 06-24-2003, 03:44 PM I don't know. It's hard to say because he comes off as being a little weird.
I think that the press should really leave him alone now. Give him a break!
Michael Jackson 06-24-2003, 03:53 PM Thankyou do u like his music and do yu comend him for his dancing.
Do yu know anthing on The Conan The Adventurer Cartoon Series
automatic princess 06-24-2003, 03:58 PM I like some of his songs. He is an awesome dancer and a lot of the popular dance moves are similar to his steps.
I've never heard of the Conan series.
Michael Jackson 06-25-2003, 10:41 AM It is an old cartoon from the early 90's
and is about a barbarian battling forces of evil
Scooter22 07-15-2003, 02:11 AM I voted He didn't want to look like his father
Steve Carras 07-21-2003, 02:25 AM I was around back then (1970), so I'll chime in (no m,usic pun intended ! :D ).
Rankin Bass and Mowtown coproduced this show starring the J5ive as them little old selves, plus Paul Frtees and a few others in additional voices.
Some MAD magazine veterans worked on RB's series-in this case Louj (and of Alicia's relation) Silverstone (writer) and Jack Davis (artist-one of the most omnipresent ever!!).
RB of course did the Osmonds as well.
kimmy gibler 07-22-2003, 02:06 AM I've saw the Jackson 5 cartoons even though I wasn't around in the 70's. I think they showed them on VH1 before?
I like Michael Jackson. Great singer...like lots of his songs...great dancer. I think it's terrible that he got all that plastic surgery done though. I think he would of looked fine today. Even if he did one nose job like he did and stopped there...he would of still looked fine.
Michael Jackson 07-23-2003, 05:02 PM I agree with you kimmy
but when you look at him his big eyes still look the same in 83'
and some expressions he makes in his face show the old michael
What is your fave song?

What is your fave song?
Yeah.
My favorite songs are: Ben, Remember the Time, Childhood, Thriller, Say Say Say with Paul McCartney...I like a lot of the old classics...
I could probably go on and on. I love some of the Jackson Five songs also.
Then, I like some from the recent album: Butterflies, Speechless, You Are my Life, Don't Walk Away, and The Lost Children.
Michael Jackson 07-24-2003, 04:51 PM So you know quite alot
You must have some albums then?
kimmy gibler 07-25-2003, 01:19 PM I have the Invincible CD because I loved Michael's old stuff, I wanted to check out the new stuff. I wish I had his older albums, but I don't have the money.
But I download songs and find out about old ones from tv shows and such. Seeing old videos too, of course. I like all kinds of music, so I just find out things. Plus my mom one time told me about the Ben song because she saw the movie when it first came out.
Michael Jackson 07-31-2003, 04:01 PM Yeah the BEN movie is a pretty strange film about a rat
Calatine9 08-01-2003, 08:52 PM I have some J5 cartoons and performances from Soul Train (from the 70's) on tape,if anyone wants to trade for them, let me know. I'm looking for a couple of things on The Jackson 5/Jacksons:
Goin' Back To Indiana special
Jackson And The Beanstalk episode
Their appearence on The Sonny & Cher Show singing "Lookin' Through The Windows"
Episodes from The Jacksons TV Variety Show
Their 1979 appearence on Soul Train as The Jacksons
If anyone has any of these, email me at my website:Jabar's Video Shop (http://community-2.webtv.net/JabarR/JabarsVideoShop)
