I just purchased the GameCube-exclusive Sonic Adventure DX. Not only is a slick improvement on the awesome Dreamcast original, it also has improved graphics, a mission mode and all 12 Sega Game Gear Sonic games as hidden bonuses.
With the all-new Sonic Heroes coming in 2004 and Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle already out, the GameCube is the system for fans of the world's most popular hedgehog.
Also, with the new anime premiering by 4Kids on the FOX BOX this September and Sonic happy meal toys on the way, it would seem like Sonic is back!
Any other fans of Sonic here?

The last time I played Sonic was in 1995, when I had a Sega Genesis. The game was Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Wow, I thought Sonic had disappeared from the gaming world.

I am. I have a gamecube and I have Sonic Mega Collection. I want to buy Sonic Adventure DX but I don't have the money right now but I'll probaly get it with my birthday coming up.

I Have been a huge sonic fan since i was a little kid. I Always played the games on Sega Genesis. Now i have the Sonic Mega Collection on Gamecube, I Have played Sonic Adventure 2 but dont have it. That game is great.
Ill be sure to check out the new one too. Sonic is totally better than Mario!

I love Sonic! I don't have any of the newer games, but I've played all the Sonic games up to the ones for the Sega Saturn.

I have a Sonic game for Genesis and one for Dreamcast. I haven't played it for a while, but my sister played the Dreamcast one just today.
My brother just bought the Sonic Mega Colletion for the Gamecube. It looks really cool,but the only Sonic game I ever really played was Sonic 2.

I bought Sonic Adventure DX Directors Cut and I really like it. I think people who have never played the Dreamcast version will like it more than those who have played it. I already unlocked two Game Gear Games, Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and Sonic Drift (the latter was only available in Japan.) I also have the Sonic Mega Collection and those games are awesome. I can't beat them, though. If only they added a save game feature...
Just in case you may be wondering, the reason I have that thumb down on the message icon is because a few days ago, my GameCube stopped working and I have to get it repaired. :( That could take a while. I'm already suffering withdrawal symptoms but I have a Game Boy Advance SP, a Super Nintendo, a Nintendo 64, and a Playstation 2 to entertain myself with so it's not too bad. :D
