When Sanford and Son first came to Tv Land the show was about 22 minutes and a few seconds long without commercials.
How long does the episodes on Tv Land run now without including the commercials?
The DVD episodes are about 24 minutes.

Well i just look at a TV LAND episode and it was 19:86 long without commercials. My local UPN sttion episode of Sanford and Son was 19:79 long. I was surprised because i thought TV LAND showed less footage than UPN.

Wow! I hate to see how much they will edit the show 2 years from now.
I taped all those shows off Tv Land in 1997-98 in sp mode so i`m currently transferring them to dvd with the Phillips dvd recorder.
They can be found at Best Buy. They dropped a few hundred dollars just in the last 6 months.
I would rather copy the ( 1997 Tv Land shows)+ columbia house tapes to recordable dvd than wait 70 years for the rest of the S&S seasons to get released.
After all these months still no release date for season 3.
I`ll still buy the season sets when / if ???? they ever come out.

I'm guessing that season 3 of Sanford and Son will be out on DVD by the end of this year.
