Sounds like someone is a little bit bitter about adult authority. Even if Mrs. G. looked over the girl's shoulders and gave disapproval for something, they rarely lashed out. Be nice
Looks like SOMEONE woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning... Be nice. Just because you don't like us talking about it doesn't mean you have to lash out at us.
Good day folks!

Beverly Ann: Let's see. It's tomorrow in Africa so if I want to talk to Edna today then I should have called her yesterday...

Natalie: It's a busy day for me. I have to go down to the newspaper office, get a lung transplant...

Blair: But if I'm not perfect... and that's a *BIG* if, then it wasn't his place to say so.
Jo: You're right. It's my place to say so.

I am a mother of a 15 and a 12 year old girls and I am the one that has to tape the FOL and watch it all the time. My daughters have watched it with me a couple of times but they are not really into FOL. They are imto MTV and like that. I also watched the show when it was on in the 80's. I am the fanatic about FOL. My kids don't have to watch certain shows like I do. I also can't wait for The Division to come on. I have always been a Nancy McKeon fan. So not all parents don't like the facts of life sometimes it is the kids. I have to tape the show when I am out and watch it later.

I didn't see anyone telling moms to shove off and get a life (then again, i only skimmed the topic about paretns not watching FOL). I'm 13, and since (I'll admit) I'm a little spoiled I've had a TV and VCR in my room since I was 7 or 8. Therefore I could watch and tape whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. My parents do get a little annoyed when I ramble about L&S or FOL (and believe you me, I can go on for hours about either one), but I expect that. Anyone would get annoyed, no matter how old they were. One of my best friends, I sit with on the bus, and she likes FOL and L&S (doesn't love them, and is a huge Tootie hater, but she watches them every now and then and likes them), and she doesn't get too annoyed, but that's because after a while she just stops listening, lol. My other best friend, though, just politely asks me if I would be quiet. My parents do, however, tell me to just shut up, but I don't care that they do. I don't want them to "Shove off and get a life." In fact, while most mothers around here watch the oldies and the teenagers watch crap like Dawson's Creek or Buffy or ER, I'm the one obsessed with N@N and she watches Dawson... odd, but true. Anyway, Adoptee, I think you're being a little rude--adult or no adult--in saying that the people on this board should not make them watch it... they already said that they DON'T make their parents watch it, they watch it in their room or wherever.
