Nancy is in the January Dish 500 magazine. It tells some things about The Division, sounds like it might be a pretty good show. It's on page 13 if you get it. I'll post it if anyone wants me to.

OK, here it is:
The Dividing Line

Nancy McKeon talks about her newest role

Nancy McKeon is thrilled with just about everything concerning her new Lifetime Television series-right down to the show's title.
"I love 'The Division'" the actress says. "It's perfect for what our show is about-the dividing line between work and your home life, men and women, the way people look at things. There is a division. It absolutely goes to what our stories and characters are about."
It's an apt assessment of the network's newest addition to a growing roster of original series-an hourlong drama that spotlights the complicated careers and equally dicey personal lives of five female detectives working together in the central station of the San Fransisco Police Department. The show's fresh subject matter and smart writing-courtesy of series creator Deborah Joy Levine(Dawson's Creek, Any Day Now)-attracted an all-star cast that also includes large screen veterans Bonnie Bedelia
and Lela Rochon-Fuqua, plus Lisa Vidal(Third Watch) and Tracey Needham(JAG).
The actress best known as levelheaded Jo on The Facts of Life does a complete about-face as a saucy single investigator in The Division. "oh I'm a mess!"McKeon chuckles, in reference to her character Detective Jinny Exstead, who, in the pilot episode, wakes up in a strange apartment uncertain of with which occupant she shared a bed with the boozy night before. "But it's a good thing,"she adds. "As an actor, it's wonderful to be able to explore these different issues that she's going through...becauseyou really have so many places to go." The Division airs Sundays, premiering January 7, on Lifetime.-Lori Lundquist

Thanks for posting this!

I was wondering who Deborah Joy Levine was since she was interviewed for Nancy McKeon's Intimate Portrait on Lifetime.

Sure seems like we will be seeing a different side of Nancy's acting abilities in this role.

It doesn't look like we have good chance of her coming back to do the reunion movie though, since she's so happy with The Division.
