On The Original Airing OF The Last Episode of the Golden Girls. Did The Cast Come Out And Bow at the end, or did They say thank you for 7 years, or anything like that. Ive never heard.

I remember watching the very last episode in Aug. or Sept. of 1992 . I don't think they did anything special like "Family Ties" did with their last episode.

I remember watching the last episode when it aired on NBC, and there was no bow or anything. Simply the girls crying when Dorothy left. Nothing fancy...

Yeah, I never remembered them doing anything special, either.

Too bad they didn't. I'm a sucker for stuff like that. The last episode of Family Ties was really touching and I must admit I cry like a baby every time I see it.

I don't remember the Girls coming out and taking a bow in the final episode, either. The series finale of The Golden Girls is definitely one of the the best final shows of any series in history: touching, poignant, well-written and acted, and the characters remained in character until the very end! Perfection! :)

I have the original version of the last episode on tape. it end the same way it does when you watch it on Lifetime.
