I recently found that the characters were fired from the TV station in the last episode. I was just wondering why since I never seen the Last episode.

Unfortunately, he fires everybody else, and keeps Ted!! :lol: That irony is pretty much what makes the finale so great. I think the writers chose that route so they could do a "farewell" episode, and bring back Rhoda and Phyllis too.
