I'm not kidding. My mother was taking me to a college and started to change to the far left lane. Some guy drove faster than us and scraped our car. My mother and this guy exchange their phone numbers, their insurance companies, and those insurance companies phone numbers. According to our insurance company, from what my mother told them, she was not at fault. But I have a feeling it's going to be a case of her word against his. Besides, both companies weren't there. BTW, no damage was done to our car but there is a scratch but not a dent on his car. The insurance companies are going to have to sort this out.

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that, but thank goodness that no one was hurt or killed.

If it was his fault and no damage was done to your moms car why bother with the insurance people? I mean it's really just his problem that he has a scratch..

Oh dear...I hope everything works out! I can relate. Two years ago, just as I was finishing up my sophomore year of HS, my mom came and picked me up from school... We had the right of way and was the first one in our lane. Some guy pulled up behind us and then rammed us from behind! It wasn't a serious one but it gave me and my mom minor whiplash for a few days. There were no scratches on his car, but there were some white scratches on my mom's car. Luckily, everything turned out in our favor. We were the first in lane with nobody else in front of us so it was his fault.
I hope everything works out alright! :(
