They're both basically nice older people, but they both can also dish out a funny wisecrack!

It's too bad that the two shows (produced by the same company) couldn't have found some way to bring those two kids together!

This is a bit off-topic, but there are a few Frasier/Wings connections. Of course everyone knows that Tony Sholoub guest starred on an episode of Frasier. But so did Tim Daly's wife, who guest starred on Wings recently. She played Janice in "The Maris Counselor". And in one episode I saw last night actually, Niles plays the opening theme to Wings on Frasier's piano. Quite a lovely surprise!!

Frasier's a good show, but not as good as Wings!
