Hey everyone. Did anyone see the Christmas eps on TV Land today? It was funny when they all sang for the jail, and I was surprised at what a good voice Lisa Welchel had! Does anyone know if she has any CD's out or anything?

OMG!!!! I had tears in my eyes!!! I was singing with Charlotte and her song cuz I have the three songs that Jo, Nat, Tootie, and MRs. G Sing but i dont have Blairs and i KNOW all the songs by heart even thought i never saw this ep before. and I was singing with charlotte and all of a sudden i had tears in my eyes she was SOOO moving... wow!! And OMG!!! I didnt know Blair had such a great voice!! It amazes me!! Since i hadn't heard Blair's song i was going to be surprised... BOY WAS I!!!! She has the PRETTIESt voice!!! I want to get a burned cd with all of those songs on it cuz boy were the just GREAT!!!! oh... sooo pretty!! So moving... so funny!!! hehe.. I LOVED the first ep too!! It was SOOO sweet when Mrs. G hugged "him" I dont wanna say who the "him" is cuz i dont wanna ruin the surprise for soem of the epopel who haven't seen him but OMG I was like screaming OH MY GOD!!!! when "he" walked in!!! I'm Like AWSOME COOLNESS!!! ya know!! I was totally surprised!!! and i thought it was sweet when mrs. g hugged "him" it was sweeet and then when Mrs. G flew her towel up in the air and was like BLAIR!!! and ran to her.. that was funny!!! it was soo sweet!! Another GREAT episode!! I can't wait for tomorrow's eps!!! hehe.. i was SOOO excited for these eps i coudlnt sleep last night! hehe.. now i probably won't be able to sleep tonight!! In 1984 Lisa did have a gospel album out and receive a dove nomination for it.

what's a dove nomination? (i know, i'm stupid. hehe)

I have no idea what a dove nomination is but I know she had recieved a grammy nom for the album.

I would guess that a "dove" (besides being a bird) is some type of award for gospel/inspirational performers.

That's just my guess, though.

And was the album gospel, or inspirational?

Welchel's album "All Because Of You" on the released in 1984. The album was nominated for a Grammy in the Inspirational category in 1985.

Remember, she was one of the New Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeers in 1977 and those kids were forever singing and dancing so she's had some practice! <g>

By the way, speaking of her association to the House of Mouse -- did you guys catch the part in the California episode when everyone is trying out the footprints at the Chinese Theatre and Jo's cast will only fit in the Donald Duck footprints? When the camera pans up there stands Blair in a Mickey Mouse hat with ears!
