I just found out this guy was 2-3 years younger than the rest of the cast, and the age of the carachter he was protraying. That is a huge difference for someone in their teens, yet Dustin Diamond pulled it off. Now granted, his Screech carachter didn't call for the most mature acting, but at no point during the entire run of SBTB (from GMMB on through to TCY) did I ever think that he was any younger than the rest of them.

Dustin Diamond's career has pretty much become a punchline, but you have to give him credit for pulling off what he did.

Yep. he was 2 years younger, and Elizabeth Berkely who played Jessie was 2 years older. In the earlier episoedes you could tell because she was alot taller than the rest of them, and Dustin Diamond was shorter. ;)

I agree with you. He did pull it off. Dustin makes me laugh out loud. The guy was funny.

Yes, he was one of the funniest, if not the funniest character on the show!!! :D

Have to agree, as well. Dustin was very talented as "Screech". No one else could fit the part better than him! :-)
