This is a real toughy for me, but I believe it would have to be season #3. I feel that the show really hit it's stride during that season, and while I like most every episode of the show, I think Season 3 had more of my favorites, as a whole, than any other season.

Thoughts?

JeannieFan,

I think everyone on this board likes all the seasons. I know I do. But that wasn't my question. I was trying to ask a semi-hard question that made everyone examine all the seasons (and consequently, the episodes in those individual seasons) and make a choice. It was VERY, VERY hard for me to pick a particular one. But that's what I was hoping everyone would do in this thread (along with explaining why they picked that season).

B&W, I think it would be easier for me to tell you which is my LEAST favorite. That would be season 5. Most of my least favorite episodes are in season 5 eg. "Love Thy Other Neighbor," " The Gunslinger" and a couple of others that I can't think of off the top of my head at the moment. Of course, I'm with JeannieFan. I love all the seasons, really, and I'm very much looking forward to having the DVD sets very soon. BTW, I have been doing a daily check on the TDVDS official web site and it still hasn't been upgraded to allow us to pre-order our sets on Doug's site. He said it would be 2 or 3 weeks a couple of weeks ago, so hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer. I can't wait to get those!

As for Doug's site, I've been doing the same thing you have. I'm hoping something is up soon, because I fear he may lose a few potential sales since other online stores already have the show up for pre-order. He doesn't have to worry about people like us, but the "casual" fans may not be aware of his intentions. I think a little NEWS ITEM might be in order explaining everything like he has done here. But that's just my opinion.

As for the seasons question, it was really just a way to get things moving again. In that sense, it's worked at least a little bit.

Of course we all love multiple seasons, if not almost every single show! But I still thought it would be interesting to get folks to really think hard about which season, if forced to choose just one, would come out on top.

I understand your point about least favorite too. Perhaps that could be another question for a thread.

I agree with you 100%, B&Wfan. Now that Doug has made some decisions here, he needs to get this show on the road or he is going to miss out on a tremendous market. I feel sorry for him. It must be so demoralizing to have your wonderful idea hijacked right out from under you and watch some snake profit from your father's life's work. I'm going to stick with him. Lolac :mrt:
