Hi,my name is Jailend and I'm new here but my brother you guys might know I heard his name here was Smoothe.One of his friends urged me that some of you guys were close to him and I just wanted to let you all know that he was shot last night:( by his best friend and his condition isn't stable,the next bit of info I recieved was that his mother had to sign a DNR(do not recessitate)and that she is gonna give him a few more days on the life support and then they'll unplug it,so if you guys knew him you can post here if you want or you can pm me,I'm not good with handling death so I'll stop here and thanks for listening anyway:( :wave:

It's true about him getting shot. Me and a bunch of other members did alot of detective work a couple days ago, we're 99.9% sure he and his brother did get shot. She explained it all to us and it all fit together.

I'd be really suprised if this was all a joke. One of her friends bubbleluvgrl explained it too, she had been talking to her all day on AIM.

Then Smoothe's sister shows up with a big sad story that Smoothe's been shot and that they're pulling the plug.

I thought you could get banned or in trouble for purposely posting false information about TV shows, much less posting all this garbage. It's not right.

It's been done before and I bet it'll be done again. The only reason these 'people' do this is to either get A) Noticed or B) Sympathy. Once they see that people have given them a few ':crying:'s' and 'I'm so sorry's', they make a come back and say that they MIRACULOUSLY pulled through. It's odd every time this is done, a miracle occurs. I say the miracle is that they didn't get much worse punishment than just a simple warning. People here on the boards are too forgiving and give them 3896309869 chances to redeem themselves. Sorry to be blunt, but a lot of people on these boards are huge pushovers. They'll go along with the crowd so they won't be thought of as 'weird' or 'different'. It's sickening. And that's why these people do these kind of things. It's so easy.

Or maybe it's his Sister that hacked into his account and is doing all this. Maybe she found his password or something and wanted to stir up trouble.

But if this was true. His sister wouldn't be logging into his name anymore. She would most likely be using her newly registered name here.

Well y'all may know the truth, but there are others (myself included) who will not pinpoint the blame on Smoothe without additional evidence to prove his guilt.

The reason I didn't post my condolences in this thread is because I was skeptical from the beginning. This seemed more to me like someone wanting some attention than someone's sister reporting to a message board that her brother had been killed.

Add to that the fact that "she" added an Aaliyah signature (not something a grieving person who just lost two siblings in a week would do), and you have yourself a nice cup of ********. I'm glad I was proven right.

Face it, folks, you fell for his lie. All he wanted was a little attention.

Yeah, guys, I know a lot of you consider him a friend, and you don't want to believe he would pull this kind of stunt, but open your eyes. The evidence is all there.

I havent read this whole thread but...Ok, so the thing is, I was on aim and this person IMed me saying that Smoothe was dead or dying or something. I believed her, until the next day the person on the same IM name IMed me saying that it was all lied and it WASNT actually his sister, he said, he said it was his ex girlfriend....the ex girlfriend was playing to be his sister, I have no idea why, but she convinced me about everything.

If that's true, then we have a motive my friends. Jealousy. Obviously she'd go as far as lying on a message board saying he was dead just to get back at him for doing something. Yo, Smoothe, this is amp2k3. I know that we don't know each other at all, but I'm happy that you're not dead, but upset at the fact that this situation carried on too long.

I was also naive, because I was thinking that maybe you had nothing to do with it. If that is true, then I am partially correct, because if some crazy girl started it then she needs to get a life and apologize to everyone for causing so much trouble. But, on the other hand, I feel that you played a part in it as well, because you should have stopped it a long time ago.

Anyways, I accept your apology, but just hope in the future that nothing like this will ever happen again!!!

When this thread was on page 5 someone PMed him and got a supposed "confused" answer back. It doesn't take a genius to look around and see what's going on. If I were bombarded with mail about my death being online, I would go around looking to see what everyone was talking about and see where did it originate. It's weird how you can reply to someone but not state your innocence in the original post about you.

You can call it crazy, but I call it common sense. I'm not accusing him or anyone else solely on that, but he never really answers anything and just rambles on. So, what the hell is everyone suppose to believe? I don't know anyone here, but I can call BS when I see it. If he (Smoothe) really doesn't know anything then we're still left where we were at the beginning. Nowhere. So, like I said, lock and ban (jai_mami18, and anyone else involved).

Until this incident, smoothe always seemed like a very nice and decent fellow, but what I don't understand is the meaning of his very mysterious goodbye post, which I believe referred to something like life and death. If he was just going to the reserves, why wouldn't his goodbye post have just said that instead of being so mysterious about life and death business he had to take care of. I would like to believe him, based on my past perception of his good character, but this story doesn't seem to hang together very well - at least not without some clarification. Being a Christian (which I'm not, but that's irrelevant) does mean forgiveness, but it doesn't mean that you should believe someone while they're lying to you.

In other words, you will not explain why you posted a mysterious goodbye post about having to face some life and death matter? The fact that you did that tends to suggest that you may have planned the "death" incident. It doesn't prove it, but it does call for some explanation, which you are apparently unwilling to give. Let's all keep our eyes on the ball and not be distracted. It seems to me that the two issues here are

(1) Did smoothe engineer this whole matter and not some acquaintance of his?
(2) If he did tell all of the lies himself and is still lying, should he then be forgiven?

It seems to me that these are the issues, and not squables between other members. And it also seems to me that these are two separate issues. Even if someone wants to forgive him, that's a completely separate matter from saying that he didn't do it.

In other words, you will not explain why you posted a mysterious goodbye post about having to face some life and death matter? The fact that you did that tends to suggest that you may have planned the "death" incident. It doesn't prove it, but it does call for some explanation, which you are apparently unwilling to give. Maybe you did the whole thing yourself, and maybe you are completely innocent and a victim yourself. But it is a fact that some people would do such a thing to become the center of attention or to convince themselves that they are smarter than everyone else. I am not saying that you are guilty, but certainly there are people who would "engineer their own death" for this sort of reason. I've just started reading into this thread, and I will admit....I don't know who to believe. I mean why would someone stage their death? And that makes me feel that Smoothe is innocent. But at the same time...why in the world would someone seek revenge over the internet? Which makes me wonder if the story is all fake......

I honestly have no clue who to believe, so maybe you guys will continue to post things and I can see for myself what I really believe.

I Really dont care one way or the other...yes i admit i was sad and worried that something WAS wrong with Smoothe cause he's my friend... and cause of that i happen to beleive him..sooo leave him alone already!
