Hi all,
I just registered here. I was 5 1/2 when COEF first aired, and loved it from the beginning - had a big crush on cute little Brandon.
On a few threads, people mentioned the "arm-lift" that Bill used with Brandon in the show. This was one of the fondest memories I have about the show, as my family copied it and I was always asking my older brother and sisters to pick me up in that way!
I am a little confused about the "Did you Know?" section that says Mike Lookinland was offered the part of "Eddie" before Brandon, because also in the section it mentions that Brandon was hands-down the casting directors' choice. Was this after Mike refused the role?
At any rate, Brandon Cruz, in my opinion, was a much more adorable and natural actor than Mike (although I did like him in the Brady Bunch), and I'm glad the role went to him!
