I think it's so funny that no one believes Joe about what a freak she is. hahaha losthighway 06-19-2003, 11:16 AM Yeah, I like Sandy too. I love it when she raises her voice and scares Joe into doing whatever she wants. The actress who played her did a great job. She's the kind of character that some people hate, and some like, but I definitely like the chemistry between Joe and Sandy, with the over the top comedy. pilotguy 06-19-2003, 12:17 PM I know that a lot of people don't like Sandy, but I find her very funny too...She really DOES scare the daylights out of Joe! Sandy's not the kind of character that you'd want showing up in every episode as a regular, but having her drop in every so often to stir things up is a lot of fun! Kris10m 06-20-2003, 02:28 AM Last night's episode was so funny, I loved Antonio wearing the 70's clothes, too..."Oh my God, I just ate a Rolaid from the 70's!"... I think it's sad though, that they don't believe Joe! I guess the one where they finally see that Sandy really is psycho won't be shown, because I remember seeing it in the marathon. Oh, and the part where they do the hokey-pokey...Joe's tush didn't look too bad on the "shake it all around" part....  spunkygirl 06-20-2003, 02:57 AM Sandy is a great character. I love it too when she raises her voice at Joe. I loved it when he said she needed "Big Gulp of Thorazine"(or words to that effect). I am surprised no one believes Joe, does he ever lie to them? I think they would believe him over some girl they hardly know, and only see maybe once a year. pilotguy 06-20-2003, 07:09 AM When the gang doesn't believe Joe, I don't think it's because they think that he's deliberately lying....It's more like they think that he's full of himself and imagines that every woman is in love with him. From what we gather from those "Sandy" episodes, Joe WAS something of a good-looking jock in high school, and the girls DID go nuts over him...and we also get the impression that just MAYBE he was a little egotistical and stuck-up in those high school days. The gang (most of them knowing him from those days) probably think "Oh no, here he goes again" when he tells them of how some girl is obsessively in love with him.... It's like when some guy sees a strange girl from across the room and says to his friend, "See that girl over there? She wants me...I can TELL that she wants me...She's probably going to send a drink over here for me!"...... Not that I would know anything about that kind of stuff first-hand! :D wingshock 06-20-2003, 09:55 AM ITA, Pilotguy. Also, I think everyone knows that Joe feels a little like his best days are behind him. He thinks back on his life & dreams back in high school, then looks at his life now and wonders what happened. So when he talks about Sandy being obsessed with him, everyone thinks that he's just trying to relive his glory days... IMO. Glory days, yeah, they'll pass you by - in the wink of a young girl's eye! ;-) Love, Wing<>< Krista2882 06-20-2003, 03:26 PM "pick up milk.. pick up eggs.. pick up nail clippers.. the good kind.." |
