Hi,
I'm from Australia, but a big fan of the show. We get episodes here not in order, somedays they could be from 2001, other days 89...so it varies.
I saw a story recently here about a girl who dissapeared with a guy in a red car late at night (the neighbour saw them leave), she was always on the net...and all the files had been deleted on the computer.
A month later she was seen in a convenience store by a witness
who saw her with a man and lady who kept trying to keep her quiet. She looked scared and possibly drugged out.
Anyone know this story or if there was an update??

I remember this story, but I don't think there was an update for it
-- not that I know of, anyway.

That would be the case of Trisha Ann Autry, who disappeared in June of 2000. The segment was originally shown on July 12, 2001. The case was solved before the segment aired. Check out the profile at unsolved.com for more details.

Hope this helps.

This case sounds just like one that was already solved. The girl was at the PC all night, supposedly working on her novel, but records showed she added nothing new to it. Interestingly, her internet temp files were all erased (something she reportedly didn't know how to do), so it was theorized she was busy talking to someone online who told her to delete everything. The girl was killed, unfortunately and a suspect arrested. I hope this helps.

You are welcome. :)

By the way, the following link is a Trisha Autry web site. It's called The Trisha Autry Foundation, which includes the latest news on the case.
