Please let me know what you think of this. I got this idea from a post over at the I Dream of Jeannie board.
Cast:
Samantha Stephens: Elizabeth Montgomery
Darrin Stephens: Dick York
Jeannie: Barbara Eden
Tony Nelson: Larry Hagman
One scorching hot summer morning, Samantha Stephens was cleaning the kitchen on 1164 Morning Glory Circle, when suddenly *blink* Jeannie and Major Anthony (Tony) Nelson pops in. At first, Samantha didn't notice them, because she had her back turned . She was a little startled when she did notice them.
Samantha:What are you two doing here? And, how did you get here?
Jeannie:Well, I am a genie and I blinked us here. My name is Jeannie and this is my master, Tony Nelson.
Tony:Uh, how do you do?
Samantha:Well, fine, thank you. Excuse me for just a minute.
Samantha runs upstairs to where Darrin was just getting up.
Darrin:What's wrong, Samantha?
Samantha:Darrin, there are two people in the kitchen, one man, and a woman with blonde hair, who claims to be a genie. Darrin, could you come downstairs and help me?
Darrin:Sure, Sam. A genie, huh? Well, I've never met a genie before. Should be interesting. For you, at least.
Samantha:Oh, Darrin. Just come help me.
Samantha goes back down the stairs. She found Jeannie and Tony sitting in the living room, waiting for her.
Samantha:My husband, Darrin will be down shortly. While we're waiting, tell me a little bit more of yourself.
Tony:Well, I found Jeannie here on an island in the South Pacific. You see, I am an astronaut. Jeannie was in a bottle. She has been imprisoned in that bottle by the Blue Gin.
Samantha:Oh, how horrible, Jeannie!
Just then, Darrin comes down the stairs
Samantha:Here's my husband, Darrin. Darrin, this is Jeannie and Tony.
Darrin:Nice to meet you.
Tony:Yeah, nice to meet you too.
Samantha:Would you two Darrin and Tony, like to go outside and get more acquainted? And, Jeannie and I will stay in here and do the same.
Darrin:Sure. Come on, Tony.
Darrin and Tony exit.
Samantha:Well, with them gone, we can get to know each other better. (Smiles at Jeannie)
Jeannie:OK.
Long pause...[/b]
Samantha:Well, I guess I'll go first. Um, I guess I'll tell you this, since you are a genie.
Jeannie:Sure, this sounds interesting!
Samantha:I am a witch! When I met Darrin, I fell in love with him. I didn't tell him that I was a witch until our wedding night. After that, he didn't really mind, after all, he was in love too. He told me not to use my powers in front of other people. Well, that is basically my story.
Jeannie:That is an amazing story! You heard my story when my master told it.
Samantha:Yeah. Your story is a sweet story.
Jeannie:Thank you! Well, I know our visit was short, but, I think my master and I should be heading back to Cocoa Beach.
Samantha:Oh, that is where you live? What state is it in? Florida?
Jeannie:Yep. I love it there.
Samantha:(calling in Darrin & Tony): Darrin, Tony!
[i]Darrin & Tony walk in, laughing.
Darrin:Yes, Samantha?
Samantha:Darrin, Jeannie is ready to go back to their home.
Darrin:OK. It sure was nice meeting you, Tony.
Tony:Yeah, same here. Maybe Jeannie & I will pop back in sometime.
Darrin:Yeah, that would be nice.
Jeannie:Ready, Master?
Tony:Ready, Jeannie.
Jeannie:Bye, Samantha!
Samantha:Bye, Jeannie!
*blink* Tony & Jeannie disappear.
Samantha:They sure were nice, Darrin.
Darrin:Who, Sam?
Samantha:Why, Jeannie & Tony!
Darrin:Who are they? I don't have time for any of your guessing games. (Laughs) I have to go to work.
Darrin walks out the door after giving Samantha a kiss. Samantha just stands there, staring off into space.
Samantha (to herself):Huh, you mean all that time, I was living a dream??
Samantha was indeed living a dream. It was a dream like no other, and a dream she will never forget.
