Both sitcoms featured teenage witches, Sabrina, The Teenage Witch lived with her two aunts, Hilda and Zelda and their cat Salem, during the time she was in high-school. The series then followed her to college, along with her roomates Roxie and Morgan, during the time she worked as a journalist for an alternative music magazine. Tabitha which was short-lived and was a spin-off from Bewitched featured a grown-up Tabitha Stevens working as a production assistant at a local TV station with her brother Adam Stevens, and sometimes her aunt, Minerva would drop-in.

Which Teenage TV Witch Did You Most Prefer: Sabrina, The Teenage Witch or Tabitha?

That's a tough call but I prefer "Tabitha".

Sabrina is kind of silly so Tabitha.

This is really not a fair comparison since "Tabitha" was on for a very brief time. However, I do remember watching it and seeing Lisa Hartman play Tabitha and Robert Urich as her co-star. A fairer and more sensible comparison would be between "Sabrina" and "Bewitched", which it tries to resemble and emulate and doesn't do too badly at it, and which "Tabitha" tried to follow but failed miserably.


As much as I love "Sabrina", so much so that I consider it the best "TGIF" series of all time, I would still prefer "Bewitched" as well as the much younger Tabitha.


So how about it, everyone? What will it be? "Sabrina" or "Bewitched"?
