View Full Version : Jumped the shark game automatic princess 06-18-2003, 03:27 PM I saw this on a website. You name a show and tell when, in your opinion, it "jumped the shark." Ex: Kim Possible When Kim Possible kept fighting the same villians over and over again. Next... I Dream of Jeannie 06-18-2003, 04:00 PM Days of our Lives Jumped the shark in 1999, when they stopped listening or even caring about Jarlena fans, at all. It's taken 4 years, 4.1 million viewers (who have stopped watching), and the threat of cancellation to get TIIC (the idiots in charge) to reluctantly listen to us. I'm just hoping that by September it has jumped back on the otherside of that shark, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Another show that jumped the shark was Boston Public when they dropped Jessalyn Gilsig and Nicky Katt from the cast and made it the Jeri Ryan show. I know, kids gotta grow up, but the show just lost it when Jerry grew up. We lost some of the best characters (Larry Mondello, Mrs. Mondello, Judy) and the rest of Beav's friends just never could reach the level Larry had. Penny just wasn't Judy.
