My brother just told me that when he went to D.C. with school, they went into the Smithsonian and saw the Cheers bar, the actually bar where the served the drinks not the whole place in the Smithsonian....

I didn't believe him.... but.... does anyone know if this is true??

Frustrating! My Blockbuster stinks!! But I'll get one by this weekend! :)

i ahte blockbuster. we have a vid store down here called Blair's and it's nice. I always get on my friends who work there because the computers don't even have all the wendt films on the computer that are in the store. Amatuers! Good luck!:)

My blockbuster sucks!!! They tend to capitalize on the New Releases and don't really know where or if they have any other movies...lol it's sad you go there and ask one of the people behind the counter if they have a certain movie, and their computer will tell them one thing then they go and get from "where it's suppose to be" and ofcourse it's not there....They are so unorganized. They called my friends Mom the other day telling her that she had a video that was a month over due. She told them that she had returned that video and they kept insisting until she went over there and made them look for it...and guess what? they found it....:rolleyes: in one of there piles.....

Woo hoo! It's Ted and Shelley @ the real Cheers!! That pic hangs on the wall of Cheers Beacon Hill too. I'm sorta bummed that I wasn't a fan of Cheers when actors still came to Boston. . .:(

I hate it when that happens, you want to know about something worse? last year during the NBC's 75th anniversary....I....I .....(this is still a little hard for me to admit...) didn't like Cheers....in fact (sob...) I hated it....because (gasp :crying: ) it...it...it....c-c-c-cut in to m-my cosby puke: ...watching...time.... I KNOW I KNOW... So I was really pissed off when they came on (sob) in the reunion and didn't even...Tape it :crying: or...worse :crying: PAY ATTENTION....then like 4 weeks later..... I actually saw an episode and fell in love with the sitcom.....i am just so ashamed......I feel so stupid and feel like hitting myself every time I remember that.....

It's ok, it's ok. Not having the ep. on tape is punishment enough--don't beat yourself up over it! :) There was a thread a while ago where a ton of people said they hated Cheers when they first saw it. :eek: So I guess a lot of us are guilty of similar crimes.

Thank you Ria...I feel better....DAMN IT (janet lol ;) ) I should have taped it... I will alway regret that...hopefully maybe my last hope is that they could feature it in one of the DVDs.

hahaha. I'll fill you in. See I saw a picture once at the Bull an Finch and a guy was standing next to a cardboard cut out of Wendt. I MUST HAVE IT. When I go to Boston me and Ria are gonna convince them to seel it to me. Whatever the cost. It's mine. I've earned it.:)
