Hello everyone! It's me Callmetootie, making a brief, one-time only appearance on the boards here. On July 17th, the emmy award nominations will be announced. The best in comedy, drama & TV film will be honored. But what comedy will actually make it to the finals? I'm here to give you my personal analyzation!
Best Comedy Series:
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Everybody Loves Raymond
Friends
Sex & The City
Will & Grace
Unless "Scrubs" or "Frasier" can knock W&G out of it's spot, it'll look exactly the same as last year. Expect Everybody Loves Raymond to take the cake.
Best Lead Actor:
Larry David...Curb Your Enthusiasm
Kelsey Grammer...Frasier
Bernie Mac...The Bernie Mac Show
Matthew Perry...Friends
Ray Romano...Everybody Loves Raymond
This is a tight category. Eric McCormack or Zack Braff could easily knock out the vulnerable Kelsey Grammer. But with the emmys being obsessed with the cranes over the years, I'd stick with that. Matt LeBlanc & John Ritter are both long shots, but could also pose a small threat. Expect either Mac or Romano to win.
Best Lead Actress:
Jennifer Aniston...Friends
Patricia Heaton...Everybody Loves Raymond
Jane Kazmerick...Malcolm In The Middle
Debra Messing...Will & Grace
Sarah Jessica Parker...Sex & The City
Despite Messings' lackluster season, she'll stay here along with all of last year's contenders. Lisa Kudrow & Lauren Graham are very strong dark horses though. Expect Heaton to win.
Best Supporting Actor:
Peter Boyle...Everybody Loves Raymond
Brad Garrett..Everybody Loves Raymond
Sean Hayes...Will & Grace
John C. McGinley...Scrubs
David Hyde Pierce...Frasier
McGinley will finally make it to the list, while Cranston gets the boot. Expect either Boyle or McGinley to win.
Best Supporting Actress:
Kim Catrall...Sex & The City
Kirstin Davis...Sex & The City
Cheryl Hines...Curb Your Enthusiasm
Megan Mullally...Will & Grace
Doris Roberts...Everybody Loves Raymond
Nixon gets the boot, replaced by co-star Davis. Hines replaces Malick, while Mullally takes the prize.
There ya go!
