I loved the first season set, but I have to admit that it was skimpy in extras. The interview with Ted Danson was enjoyable, but I wasn't really into the cheap clip-fests and trivia game.
In the future, what can Paramount do on "Cheers" DVDs as far as extras go?
I'd like to hear commentaries - from the Jim Burrows, the Charles brothers, and the cast members. I'd also like to see outtakes and deleted scenes- they do exist, as well as original promotional spots. The season eleven set should be the most packed set as far as extras go. They could include, for example, the Bob Costas "One For The Road" pre-show, as well as "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" from May 20, 1993, if NBC would license them to use it.
