Game Show Network will offer a Fifth of July Summer Blockbuster marathon with Sam Rubin of KTLA in Los Angeles as host.

Four of the five shows will be encores of previous celebrity-oriented games, including Sunday night's Susan Olsen vs. Chris Knight Cram.

Also in the mix: the April Fool's Day Lingo with four GSN emcees playing and Todd Newton as announcer, along with a previous Russian Roulette.

A pre-television Kirstie Alley's appearance as a contestant on Match Game is part of the 9 p.m.-12 midnight (EDT/PDT) showcase.

The one new episode: a National Lampoon's Funny Money with Martin Mull and Fred Willard as two of the comics.

I would just prefer to see a marathon of classics that haven't been run into the ground a hundred times already. Match Game is the only classic game that regularly makes it into GSN marathons today (occasionally NG, FF, and Tattletales make it in it's place).

IMHO, GSN's originals get too much primetime exposure anyway. It wouldn't hurt that much to give a night to the classics every once and a while.
