Well, as you know, a week from now will be the 49th birthday of Freddie, so to honor him, I'm going to try another contest. Y'all responded so well to the last one, this one should be great, although you only have a week. This contest will be different though. The winner will get a special little gift from me and all participants get a little something for trying.;)

The contest is to dedicate a song to Freddie for his birthday. Whatever song you think would be great. You can either use it to describe him, tell him how you feel, or just tell how happy he has made you. It's up to you! :)

I would like at least the title and artist, but if you can find the lyrics, that would be big help. Don't have to though, cause I know that can be a bit much to type if you have to.

This is a song that Mariposa and I wrote about two years ago. I wish I could find a way to post me singing it so you all could hear it. I have it on three wav files. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. I don't know if you were accepting original material, but I wanted to submit this anyway. Mariposa tells me she would like to tweak it somemore. My meager first attempt as a lyricist could never hold a candle to the talent of Michelle Branch, who wrote and sings the song "Everywhere", to which you were kind enough to introduce me! Here are the lyrics, which describe my sense of Freddie to perfection--I couldn't have said it better myself! :D :
