Family Ties will air on Nick at Nite starting in Fall 2001....I read this on the family ties board!

Jo: Blair, if you like that song so much, then why are you doing that to it?
Blair: Doing what?
Jo: Singing it like Julie Andrews.

Then look on the shelf
There might be a clue
Maybe in a book."

why did it take them over a year to put Family Ties on after NAN announced it? They announced they were getting FOL in May, and in September began running it?

I also hope they wait awhile before actually putting Roseanne, Full House and Fresh Prince, shows that had the majority of their runs (if not all) in the 1990's on there, and put shows like Gimme A Break, One Day At A Time and especially Diff'rent Strokes (which is possibly the most requested show for NAN on now) on there first.

IMO, a show should be off at least 12-15 years (FOL has been off since 88, Family Ties went off in 89) before hitting Nick. Shows like Roseanne, Cosby, Full House, Cheers, Fresh Prince and others in the rumor mill should wait a good decade in most cases before being considered. I love some of those shows, but all of them are still readily available on channels like TBS, WGN and syndication. How about the shows that have been put away?

I agree and would also like to see Gimme a Break, One Day at a Time(featuring another one of my all time favorite actresses, Valerie Bertinelli), and Diff'rent Strokes since it has been years since they aired on tv.

I don't have much interest in syndicated shows like Cheers and Seinfeld because they are too readily available on other stations and it has been too recent since they ran on the major networks.

Family Ties is a good choice for N@N but to be honest I am a bigger fan of FOL. Alex P. Keaton is too pompous and Mallory was too much of an airhead.

Theres a problem. The Faimlt Ties show might block The Facts of Life. What I meen is they will put the other show before Fol
Example: ( This is true. This really happened) The Brady Bunch was token off and put at early in the morning and Gilligans Island ahead. This will cause the scheldule to be changed. Like once there were 1 hour pof Gillligans Island but that changed because The facts of life.
