So, does anyone here listen to goth and like it? And no, I don't mean "Marilyn Manson" but rather good ol'e authentic goth/darkwave/industrial? My favorite band: Switchblade Symphony, though there's a bunch of other one's I really like.

the only thing close to"goth" i listen to is manson..i consider him to be goth rock.

Siouxsie & the Banshees, Bauhaus, and Joy Division are some good Goth bands. Early Cure stuff was Goth also. Marilyn Manson doesn't really play Goth music, but he does blend gothic imagery with his style which is probably why the media and people mistake his music for Goth.
