already have it set in our minds that we are about to watch a HORRIBLE show based on what we heard about the show and it's low ratings? I really don't know if I gave some short-lived shows a fair chance because I'm saying to myself before I watched it, it was short-lived for a reason. And I end up saying "THIS WAS A BAD SHOW" I already was saying "THIS SHOW IS GOING TO BE AWFUL" before I watched these shows

The Ropers
Flo
Joanie Loves Chachi-
Three's a Crowd-
Sanford Arms-

Has Anyone done this when they watch a short-lived sitcom for the first time?

Well, most short-lived shows I've watched, I like.

Fired Up
Almost Perfect
Gidget
Jesse
Family Affair (2002)
Two Of A Kind
My Life In Television
Regular Joe

It's sad about the shows that only got around 4-16 episodes in it's whole run, especially when I like it! I think people make themselves hate short-lived shows, so they won't get too attatched cuz there are so little episodes. that's my theory

Jesse was yanked off the air very fast.

I find it very hard to watch a short-lived show for the fact that it's short-lived. But I don't hate them until I viewed them. Like with my tapes of Andy Richter Controls the Universe, I watch the episodes and think to myself how great a show this was. And how it had so much potential and could have gone on longer. I always laugh, and it's short-lived credit only makes me love it more. For the fact that I don't hate any episodes, it never jumped the shark. Same goes for DAG and The Weber Show. Although I think DAG could have gone further than "The Weber Show."

Actually, Out of all the shows Brandon mentioned I'm pretty sure it was the longest-running.

I just remember being surprised that it was canceled. It seemed fast to me.

I haven't really done that. Yeah, I'm already disappointed that there aren't more episodes of the show in case I really like it, but I just enjoy the eps that do exist.
