I was wondering if they plan to release any more seasons on DVD. The 3rd and 4th would be logical, and excellent additions.

I think I heard somewhere that they're very close to releasing the third season on DVD. I haven't heard anything about the fourth season, though.

Sony Pictures, in cooperation with their Columbia Tristar division, has updated their "Classic TV on DVD" web page (http://www.sonypictures.com/cthe/tv/tvondvd.html) to a new style, and now has room to list all the new television series in their lineup.

In the process, they rather casually mentioned that Season 3 of Sanford & Son is "coming soon" as a 3-disc set. That's all the hint they dropped, but it's good enough to whet our appetites. I can hear old Fred shouting now, "I'm coming to join ya'!"

I sure hope they release the other seasons
