I don't think we've had this topic before, so here it goes. Who is your least favorite actress or actor on Dark Shadows?

My least favorite actor is Roger Davis. He only seems to have one vocal range on the show: shouting.

My least favorite actress is Betsy Durkin. Her voice is way too shrill and she annoys me. Her replacement was much better.

I also don't like Christopher Pennock during the Leviathan storyline, though I thought he improved by 1840.

My least favorites at this point are Kathy Cody and the actress who played Sabrina.:eek:

James Blair (Burke's attorney). Dull guy that particular Blair. Real dull! Only in pre-Barn eps (thank God). Kathy Cody is too cute tho be that disliked.

My least favorites are the actresses who played Sabrina Stuart and Suki Forbes(I hated her voice.) Least favorite male actor is one of the Sherriff Davenports who was obviously reading all his lines.

THe dull actor playing James Blair (John Baragrey) can be boringly found in the '65 monster film Gamera.

The actor playing Adam. I don't like his acting at all. He is more annoying than Christopher as Jeb.

The actress who played Amanda Harris got on my nerves a lot. Her scenes with Quentin are the first ones I have ever fast forward through on DVD.

Adam was totally uneccessary to the show. The actor who portrayed him was bad too. When you look on imdb.com you can see that Dark Shadows was the only thing he did.

I never really cared much for Big Lou. His character was so boring.

That was my feeling about CP I didn't care for Jeb Hawkes but CP was much better after that.
I didn't like Joe Haskell or the other character Joel Crothers played Major Forbes

I also didn't like Rev.Trask-made my skin crawl

I also found Mrs.Johnson annoying.

Heresy! How can you not like the Reverend TrasK? He stole every scene he was in. When someone asked me once to name a scene I rmember from DS, the very first one I thought of was the good reverend being wlled up alive by Barnabas.

The man who played Adam was my least favorite. I did not like the Adam story at all. It came right after 1795 being so good.

Least Favorites - Barnabus (overrated), the ugly doctor lady (annoying and grating on the nerves), & Maggie (She was better off slinging hash at that cafe than being the new governess----a poor man's Vickie).

I can't think of the performers that I did not like. I did not like the charcters of Aristeed, Roxanne, or Count Petofi.

I have to admit I think the actor who played Harry Johnson is the worst actor ever on Dark Shadows. His name was Craig Slocum. He beats Adam.

Seen an interview with Millay on one of the DS dvds and she seems like an old nutjob.

Detest the 1897 storyline. I tried the love the characters but alas I just couldn't stomach watching the gypsy woman, Jennie, Sandor, and the maid in every other eps. Small doses is fine. Only tolerable characters are Quentin and Judith.

Crawled back to watching the arrival of Barnabas in the early years of Dark Shadows (skipped this era to focus on the Quentin years....big mistake)

I've currently just started the Leviathan storyline so I can't say for any actors/actresses that come later, but as for what I've seen so far, I'm going to have to go with Roger Davis as worst actor. His characters were all essentially the same, just with different names. I also really didn't like the replacement actresses for Vicki or that actress who substituted for Carolyn for an episode.

Eh, to each their own. I get that replacements were needed sometimes, but they took me out of the show.
