Neither show may have been as good as Three's Company, but they were not bad shows. After all, the only reason "The Ropers" died was because it was placed against CHiPs.

It wouldn't have matter what show the Ropers wnt up against, the show was not Good. Maybe three's a crowd was good but defintely not the ROPERS

That's a matter of opinion. I personally liked the show and thought it was too bad it didn't last long. *shrug* Sure, it's definately not as good as Three's Company, but I still thought it was good. *Shrug*

Um? I never mentioned TAC because I've never seen it. And if I had, why do you hope I wouldn't say The Ropers was better than it? It would be my opinion, even if you don't agree with it. Out of the 10 episodes of The Ropers I've seen, I thought they were all enjoyable. I've also noticed a lot of people that say TAC was worse than Ropers.

I can't believe people would rather watch the Ropers than Three's a Crowd. So they are basically saying they prefer 30 min of Stanley and Helen over Jack Tripper. And that would sound weird

Yes i have 20 eps of Three's A Crowd and it's more watchable than the Ropers because of Mr. Tripper

The show may not have been that great, but John Ritter was a comedic genius IMO. There was one particular scene in an episode of three's a crowd where he comes to bed and his wife's already asleep. He takes FOREVER to quietly splip into bed and as soon as he settles she says something and he leaps horizontally out of the bed in a way that can't be described but was just incredibly hilarious. The timing was perfect.

Another time, actually on Three's Company, there was someone writing love letters and mr. roper thought they were about him and written by krissy. She said it wasn't her and he said, oh it must be janet. Janet said it wasn't her...

Then we see a closeup of mr. roper's face as the inevitable conclusion comes to him. Just as he looks to his left, the campera slides to the left as well to include Jack's head in the shot with mr. roper's and he's already got this silly flirtatious look on his face, looking straight at the camera, but with his eyes to the right at mr. roper. It was one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen to this day on television.

Another great Three's A Crowd episode is #14-"A Case of Sour Grapes". In this episode, Jack is forced to go to work in a Japanese restaurant. The scene where Jack tries to copy the Japanese Cook is hilarious.
