I considered buying one of those a while back, but when i did research its like, you have to have a pal compatible tv and all that.
Try finding out that info from your american tv manual, LOL. :)
Nice to know you guys can do it - maybe i will. My friend bought a bunch of pal vhs tapes of some robin of sherwood tv show a long time ago and never could get them converted. ill have to let her know this.
you guys rock.

Like Icant afford that, but I am going to buy one of these

Does anyone know if this would work?
I have a TV that plays back both NTSc and PAL formats and 2 VCRs that are also NTSC/PAL compatable, but 1 wil record in either format and the other only in PAL. If I was to hook these VCRs together and play and NTSC tape in the fully compatable VCR and pressed record on the other VCR that nly records in PAL, would the newly recorded tape be in PAl or Ntsc?

thanx
