Good answers here, but I say drowning.--because it seems like the one that would cause the most panic. It would be the least likely way I'd want to die anyhow.

overdosing on those yummy vitamins would be the best way to die. lol i think i almost killed myself from eating em so much when i was like 6.

Being strangled, burned to death, buried alive, or any other death that occurs slowly and you have to suffer through it.

Drowing- I have a strange fear or water.
Getting Crushed- Oh God, thatd be horrible!
Plane Crash- Id die (no pun intended) just going down.. Oh God Id be in hysterics.
Falling- Hate heights
Burning- Scared of fire

The worst for case scenario (whether it result in death or not) would be to drive off a bridge into water and not be able to escape. *shivers*

I agree with suicide. Its such a cheap escape and I dont have any sympathy for those who attempt or commit it. Its selfish.

I guess drowning would probably be the worst way to die in my opinion. I like water, but just imagining being held under water, that would be terrible in my opinion. My band director said that once you get over the struggling part though, that drowning is a peaceful way to die. Its hard for me to imagine that, but I am also terrified of being strangled, or burning to death. I hope I die, a fast peaceful death, in my sleep. Any way to die is going to be bad though. I don't like to think about it.:(

I think the worst way to die would be to get caught in machinery at a rig and getting chopped up into many pieces.

OMG, that reminds me of a picture I saw a long time ago; It was of a guy who got ran over by a Tank, all that was left was a puddle of flesh:( eeeeeewww!!

Geez, what a depressing thread. Okay, here's a weird slant on it. If you didn't mind the dying part, what would be the most spectacular way to die? I'm sure there are many. How about putting a stick of dynamite in your mouth, lighting it, walking up to your worst enemy, and tapping him on the shoulder so he turns around and sees you about 30 seconds before the dynamite goes off?

It wouldn't matter HOW I died if I died a hero. Dying a hero would make the death spectacular in itself. Whether it's drowning or getting shot on a giant slingshot, if I was in the situation where I saved someone, or I put their life above mine...the cause of death wouldn't matter. It'd be the most spectacular thing I could ever think of.

I've always been spoiled and deep down, I am a little self-centered. And I probably would only be thinking of myself. So to die a hero, would be amazing for me, and without any doubt about it...the most spectacular cause of death...ever. Saving someone's life and then dying IS a cause of death. I want to die knowing I made a difference in the world, whether if it's years before I die, or minutes, I want to make a difference. I want to be a hero.

Well, really I was just trying to lighten the tone of a very somber discussion, but it sounds like you have something serious to say about it. I must say, though, that I'd rather be a live hero than a dead one.

I would have to say suffocating and drowning, would be the worse way to die IMO.

But when my husband was a kid he said that he drowned once. He said there was nothing to it! But his brother pulled him out in time. He said that after that he was never afraid to die!

The worst for me is to buried alive in a coffin, underground. This has happened in human history but vey rarely. Laying poisoned on a bed in a cheap motel room, watching a necrophiliac disrobe, pretty bad too.
Beaten, battered, and bruised on a prison shower room floor, equally depressing.

But, I think that dying young would be the worst possible outcome.

Actually though, if somebody said "you are gonna die, pick your method", I think that falling from great height would be the way to go. That final huge adrenaline rush would be amazing, and no chance for failure.
