Sitcomwriter 06-12-2003, 06:11 PM These shows are like "Seinfeld": Curb Your Enthusiasm Friends Townies The Larry Sanders Show (actually it's more like CYE but....) I can only think of one like W&G and that's the showlived CBS comedy "Some of my best friends" although it wasn't great. *PinkLady* 06-12-2003, 09:28 PM No offense, but I don't think either of those shows are "great." BLT 06-13-2003, 11:44 AM One of the most blatant Seinfeld ripoffs ever was ABC's "it's like, you know..." DianeChambers87 06-13-2003, 01:14 PM Curb Your Enthusiasm (starring larry david, writer for Seinfeld) I'm not sure if Cheers can be considered at the same level as Seinfeld and Will and Grace, But it's an incredible show! You can download some episodes off of KaZaa or watch clips on the HBO website. I forgot about that show.Cynical Jews and and Jennifer Gray as herself. It was almost exactly like "Seinfeld" only in California. They should have just called it "Gray"! Agent 99 06-15-2003, 12:45 AM Aw, I loved It's Like, You Know... I thought it was hilarious. I've heard great things about "Curb Your Enthusiasm", but I don't get HBO, either... I don't watch Will and Grace, but Cheers was a great show, which got better as it went on...Diane was difficult to replace, but Rebecca did a nice job, playing a different kind of character...Both ladies did a fantastic job playing the characters they did... and Woody was a far superior replacement for Coach.... I loved Cheers! A great show for a long time with no loss in quality |
