While growing up in Arizona we had the Wallace and Ladmo Show. It ran from 1954 to 1989. Wallace was the one in the derby hat and Ladmo in the top hat. Now Gerald, the brat in the maroon kids outfit, was hilarous. Then their was Aunt Maude, Marshall Good, Captain Super and I think Baffo the Clown. Unfortunely Ladmo passed away in the mid 90's. Oh and the Ladmo bags, us kids all wanted to win one. I never did. Wallace and Ladmo never talked down to the kids, but there was alot of adult humor mixed in. And the celebrities that were on the show: Alice Cooper, Bill Cosby, Lorne Greene, Michael Landon to name a few. Even Steven Speilberg talked of watching the show.

Evita Peron 06-12-2003, 02:03 PM As a kid I liked a lot of cartoons and TV shows. But my favorites were Jem!, He-Man, She-Ra and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also liked Mr. Rogers a LOT.

Mysty Eyes 06-12-2003, 04:16 PM I liked lots of cartoons, especially The Flintstones and The Jetsons. But one different type of show that I really loved when I was a teen was called "Make A Wish" starring Tom Chapin. It was an award winning informational show for kids.

I Was also OBSESSED With The Power Rangers. I Have outgrown it but still kinda like it, You never trully lose full interest in things your obsessed woith.

The Facts of Life - not exactly a kids show but I watched it growing up and it is still my #1 favorite comedy.

Eh, I was obsessed with Leonardo Dicaprio during that time, and then it was Nick Carter. Eh. I can't even stand to look at Nick Carter now. What was I thinking?

Ah, Romper Room and Captain Kangeroo, plus a local show in Calif. was The Sheriff John Show. And then there was Jerry & Knucklehead and Diver Dan and Hobo Kelly. All Great local shows.

6. Lambchops. In 7th grade instead of of having gym since it was raining, they said as a treat we'll watch Lambchops, and it was like soo ******** i don't know how i likeed it back then. And it wasnt' a treat to watch Lambchops, lol.

Disney. I remember seeing it listed in TV Guide, but I could never watch it cuz Disney was a 'special' channel then. It pissed me off.
