Why won't N@N show EVERY episode?! I want to see the "controversial" ones, too. It's not fair to shelter the viewers like this. As if modern TV doesn't deal with sex and drugs!! Does anyone else feel that they have no business keeping these episodes under lock and key?

Does TV Land cut up episodes too? I just got home where we have it and I haven't watched anything yet. Maybe someday I'll have money and I'll start my own classic TV network showing all the best sitcoms of the 80's. Man, is it gonna be good. Showing every episode in its entirety too. Maybe even like the new "Best of Friends" video where every episode will have never before seen footage! Hey, I can dream, can't I?

NAN doesnt only skip the juicy episodes but they cut parts out of the ones that they DO air. I guess they do it for commercial time but still, if they bought the rights to show the Facts of Life reruns then they should show the WHOLE FOL episodes-un cut and no skipping shows either. Besides, those so-called controversial (SP?) episodes arent nearly as bad as the things u c on TV nowadays!

What NAN does is cut out scences but they bring back footage into the episode that hasn't been seen in years. That Facts of Life is one example. "Gossip" episode 29 in syndication opens with Tootie having "some great gossip about the headmaster" while NAN opens with Nancy coming into the cafeteria talking about how Roger will be with her in NYC with Blair looking a little worried. (because Roger was taking Blair out in NYC without Nancy knowing)then Nancy went to go fix her hair and then Tootie started talking about "some great gossip from the headmaster" The one thing do like is that NAN's shows with the original girls are giving them more airtime. I have been doing these comparisons since they've been airing.
