Anyone Disagree?

To each his own as they say. I never have been able to fathom how someone wishing to get his or her favorite show on tape can do what I call "selective" recording. As for me, I don't feel satisfied unless I can get every episode of a series on tape, regardless if I loved it or hated it. But just for the record, those episodes that Solomon mentioned of "Sanford and Son" would never be included in a "best of" package.

Yeah, I have to admit I go for them all. If I'm watching the videos and I get to an ep I didn't like, I can always >> through them. I'd just prefer to have the complete set.

Jenny you defintely don't need Camping Trip in your set. It was just Lamont and fred in the woods-BORING.-LOL

I hated Sergeant Gork too, but I actually liked Camping Trip. Which episode was Carol? I don't remember if I liked that one or not.

The Episode Carol was about a guy named Carol who knew Fred back in the 1940's and he returned because Fred helped Carol rob a bank. And he returned to give Fred his share of the money that was stolen from the bank.

Thanks. I never saw that episode, so I have no opinion on it as of yet.

Did you even like sanford and son.? you can't like it and hate two or three episodes. It seem that you named three episodes in which they actually left the house. I think some of you have issues with that. I read this post about sgt gork a few times. This is not the first time someone has stated a displeasure for the episodes in which fred leaves the house and acts out of character.
How about these episodes.?

The Kid...the only joke was this fat kid saying "I like necks"
Sanford and Niece......jokeless and dry
The Family Man...are they trying to introduce"Grady" the series.?
The Director......George Foreman cameo...Lamont talking funny."oye chap"..also dry.

You can make a list of complaints about a few episodes that didn't measure up to the others. Thats TELEVISION . If this where a movie you would have a valid point but c'mon man...lighten up.

Family Man was really good either because it was only Rollo and Grady in the episode. No Fred or Lamont.

yes. I guess it was really about the track coach who made it big JOE MORTON. His wife looks just like Principal Grier. Is this the same lady.?

I disagree. My VCR recorded those episodes with no trouble at all.

Those three are fairly funny, but my least favorite. I still taped them though. I agree with Jenny and Flash, when I tape a series I like, I want all the episodes, regardless of how I feel about certain ones. Sure, there are a few episodes in every show I like that I don't enjoy.

I have one more to add..."Bank on This." It is HORRIBLE.

Well, I can say that there are episodes I like more than others... the entire stint of "Fredless" episodes pale... but to date, my collection consists of every single episode on DVD or VHS except for the very last episode "School Daze".

BTW, "Camping Trip" was a greatest hits kind of episode that was very common for all sitcoms to do back then...

It was the last episode of the season not SERIES

It wasn't supposed to be the last episode of the series. That's what i'm saying. Redd Foxx got a better deal from ABC and Demond Wilson wanted more money which led to no 7th season

Naw, that was way before Principal Grier's time. I was told years ago that she was Natalie's Cole older sister, Carol Cole? Don't know how true that is, help me out somebody?:D
