Have any of you gotten awards. What kind? What for? I've gotton a lot of awards and tomorrow we have a awards thing at school.

Business Education award~ Senior year

creative writing award and i had some of my stuff in an art show but i didnt get any awards; both senior year.

There was a post a while back that asked what all awards people had gotten, and I listed mine there. I have several trophies for softball, and cheerleading that I got when I was little, like in the 3rd and 4th grade's, and some band award's that I have gotten recently.

For my 8th grade graduation I got a 'Technologically Gifted' award. :D I was the only student who practically knew anything about computers then. In high school, I never really let anyone know that I knew anything about computers/internet. Except, a few of my teachers, who would let me surf the internet during class.

Ive gotten trophies for soccer and basketball.... thats pretty much it.

I've gotten a ton...mostly for school and a few for writing.

When my brother played in Pop Warner football I was on the cheerleading squad and we each won a trophy, other than that I won a ribbon ( I forgot what color ) for cooking in 4-H and employee of the month.

I got first place on the advanced level French test freshman year. That's about all I've gotten recently...but I think I'm going to get Most Improved Player at the golf banquet tomorrow. :D

I just came back from the annual awards ceremony and I got four awards. Before I say what those are, I'll go over the previous ones.

Honor Roll (for having consistently good grades throughout the year)

Student of the Semester (first semester)
Public Affairs Forum Award (for my work in the school debate)
The Winston "W" (for meeting criteria in 3 of four areas: academics, activities, leadership, and athletics; I got a gold watch and a letter "W")

2003
Publications Award (for my work on the school yearbook and the school newspaper)
Presidential Gavel (given to the student body President)
The Winston "W" Cluster (basically the same award as the Winston "W"; this time, I got a clock and a gold star pin)
The Sarita Doyle Eastman Loyalty, Spirit and Service Award

In my senior year of high school, I received an award for having one of the best displays in our annual art show. That same year, my teachers voted me as the best artist in the class, so I got to wear an art medal on my graduation gown.

*award for singing at shakespeare festival
*group theater awards at drama comp
*first in behavioral science and second overall at science fair
*misc. certificates/awards for writing, academics, dance, and music

I got a boys choir award in grade 9.....that was a good day :)

I always got awards for excellent and perfect attendence and honor roll.

I've gotten many for miscellanious things, but one still makes me mad. In first grade, I was in the spelling bee. Ms. Hendricks said spell "About." I said "A-B-O-U-T." She said I was wrong. Then she told Julie to spell the same word, and she spelled it "A-B-O-U-T," just as I did. Did Katie get first place? NO! Julie did. I got second.
