I watched the I Dream of Jeannie marathon over the weekend and had a thought.

Dr. Bellows always finds Tony to be "different". And wants to find out what is different about him.

In What ever happened to Baby Custer sp? One of the General's son's tell Dr. Bellows that he saw Tony floating in thin air. And there was a lady with him. (Jeannie). And so Dr. Bellows belived him.

But in the ep when Jeannie blinks the wrong astronaunt, home. (Trying to get Tony home, but missed due to the fact that she had a cold.) Mrs. Bellows sees Tony outside of his house, when he is suppose to be in space. She goes and tells her husband that she sees Tony. But he just ingores her and acts like Tony wouldn't do anything strange. Why would he believe a child he didn't know, but wouldn't believe his own wife. Just a interesting thought. Although I suppose if they had Dr. Bellows belive her, it wouldn't have been a funny ep. :)

same with the last season. Mrs. Bellows' nephew has to stay with Tony for a day, and the nephew sees Jeannie come out of the bottle and the boy tells Dr. Bellows and Dr. Bellows is all 'you're making all of this up. You read too many comics'.
