What do you think was the meanst trick Lucy played on Ricky?

Pretending to be really sick is a pretty mean trick to play on anybody!

I don't think you can top fighting a duel with a Frenchman and pretending you died!

Yes, but if she was THAT creative in life, she must have been a wonder in bed, so i'm sure he was very happy!

The duel thing was her fault - she deserved it! Whenever she did things to 'get back at Ricky', or to 'teach him a lesson', he hadn't ever done anything wrong. So her pretending she was really ill is worse than him pretending he'd been shot. :) At least going by my logic.

Sneaking out on the windowsill and acting like she was abducted by robbers just to see if he really loved her.

I'd have to say that one as well. Until I saw that post, my vote was going to go to the time she pretended she was really sick. Ricky even got back at her worse with that one--getting the phony doctor to tell her she was dying! But as Mickey said, she brought all things Ricky did to her on herself! Although I will say, these death scares were a little harsh! Good to see he could outsmart her though. There was no outsmarting to be done in the "abducting trick episode" though. She was just cruel that day!

I like the episode where Ricky takes her camping to make her hate camping and she finds out about it and turns the tables on him. I love it when Ethel throws the plucked and cleaned duck out of the tree! Lolac

I have to agree that the "meanest" trick Lucy pulled on Ricky (and Fred and Ethel) was to make it appear she had been abducted in "Lucy Cries Wolf." But Lucy's silly emotionalism takes things too far in that 1st season ep where Ricky conspires to give Lucy the idea that their marriage is not valid-- a 'mean' trick on Ricky's part, but I don't think Lucy would have really been that gullible, and Fred's friend, the license agent, wouldn't have gone along with them and deliberately given false information. But anyway, Lucy "wants everything to be exactly as it was before" as they then plan a new wedding. She takes Ricky's wallet out of his suit pocket because she says that happened when they were married the first time, and then Ricky cannot buy gasoline (wherever that car was from), and Lucy registers as a single lady in the hotel and will not lend Ricky money for a room, so he has to sleep in the lobby. Ricky needs to get back to do his nightclub act, but that doesn't matter to Lucy; he must propose, they must have a 'real' wedding, and Ricky has all the consequences for Lucy removing his wallet.

Also The Golf Game, Ricky plays a pretty nasty trick on Lucy & Ethel because they want to play his sport.

If Lucy and golf is anything like Lucy and poker, I don't blame him!
