Okay, guys, let's see it. I'm curious to see what everybody is using as their skin.

I pretty much only use MSN Messenger (I have ICQ and AIM but don't get on either too often), so here is what my Messenger window looks like with the picture I picked out:

How do you get a skin for MSN? I didn't know that we could! Please tell me!:)

Neither did I !! I hope we can use them for macintoshes too!!

It is my understanding that MSN skins wiill only work for MSN Messenger 4.5 through 4.7. If you are on Windows XP and running MSN Messenger 5.0, it won't work (I've tried), so you will have to go to www.oldversion.com and select either MSN Messenger 4.5, 4.6 or 4.7. Sorry, I don't know if MSN skins work with Mac's! You will have to find out for yourself. :-/

Once you have done that and you've completely downgraded to that version, you can go to a site like http://members.home.nl/t.gorissen/middle.htm for skins (there are more but that is just a link I am giving you). You don't even have to use the skins that are provided. You can make your own- it can be ANY .gif image you want. There are directions on how to change the background at http://messengerskins.web1000.com/mailpics.html . And if you want to change back to your original skin, they have a link to it on the main page.

Oh man, do you have ANY idea how HARD it is to find a .gif image of Vicki on the internet?!?! Anyhoo, that said, I got the pink outfit pic converted to .gif, no problem.

And, I know what you mean about how hard it is to find a pic of Vicki. I wish that there were more available. Everytime that I want to look for a pic, I have to go to Google (http://www.google.com) to search for it!

I ALWAYS Google all my images. You can find more Vicki pics by Googling her under "Mama's Family", but I'm sure you already knew that. :lol:

It WILL work on XP. You saw my screenshot, it has the blue XP title bar. :)
