BARRIS: NEIGHBOR'S GONG CRAZY
FORMER "Gong Show" host Chuck Barris claims he once worked for the CIA, but the one-time "spy" is scared of his octogenarian neighbor, who he says has terrorized him and his wife.
Barris has complained to Trump Plaza about Dorothea Weitzner, 80, his neighbor on the 39th floor of the ritzy building, claiming she has been harassing, threatening and screaming obscenities at him and his wife for two years.
In the letter to the Trump Plaza management - which is now trying to evict Weitzner - Barris said, "My wife Mary and I have been subjected to obscene harassment and vile death threats for going on two years."
The letter, obtained by "Celebrity Justice," goes on to say Weitzner "constantly bangs on the walls at all hours of the night" and screams obscenities at him and his wife including, "You whore! I am going to break your [bleeping] head open. I'm going to slit your [bleeping] throat."
Barris claims the abuse "has been getting louder and louder and more venomous throughout the years."
The letter lists several incidents of obscenities Barris says Weitzner yelled at him, including, "You [bleeping] womanizer! You've got a rash all over your [testicles] from your [bleeping] dermatologist! You need to have your [testicles] cut off and I know just the person to do it! You give me that half grin again and I'll crack your head open!"
Trump Plaza took Barris' claims so seriously it filed suit June 5 in Manhattan Supreme Court against the woman, attempting to terminate her lease.
An employee of the building is quoted in the suit as saying Weitzner was heard making threatening statements such as, "I can yell anytime I want in my apartment and I have a dagger."
When reached by "Celebrity Justice," Weitzner admitted yelling at the Barrises and specifically to screaming, "You whore."
"I did use those words," she said, "and I didn't think they were shocking."
When asked about the threats she allegedly made about Barris' genitalia, Weitzner says, "I never saw his [testicles]. I had nothing to do [with that]." She also says she "never knew about the dagger."
Barris' attorney had no comment.
