View Full Version : Between Ebay and SitcomsOnline, which site would be hard to do without? TVFactFan 06-09-2003, 12:27 AM I will defintely have to say Sitcomsonline is the one site that will be extremely difficult to do without. By the way, ebay is my number 2-site-LOL Brian 06-09-2003, 12:29 AM Sitcomsonline. The people on these boards make up 98% of my friends. Yeah sitcomsonline is the very first site i visit when i log on to the web. Crimson and Clover 06-09-2003, 12:34 AM i dont go to ebay so id have to say Sitcomsonline. Originally posted by SOLOMON Yeah sitcomsonline is the very first site i visit when i log on to the web. me too. its my homepage. Brian 06-09-2003, 12:34 AM Originally posted by SOLOMON Yeah sitcomsonline is the very first site i visit when i log on to the web. What a coinkidink. It's also the first site I visit when I get on the internet. I chose SO because I'm not old enough to register on Ebay. Unwanted Angel 06-09-2003, 12:35 AM SO...I don't go to EBay yet...So SO is my first Choice. TVFactFan 06-09-2003, 12:37 AM Originally posted by BJL What a coinkidink. It's also the first site I visit when I get on the internet. I chose SO because I'm not old enough to register on Ebay. How old do you have to be to register on Ebay? Brian 06-09-2003, 12:42 AM Originally posted by SOLOMON How old do you have to be to register on Ebay? You have to be at least 18 years of age. DarleneIllyria 06-09-2003, 01:08 AM That is a really tough question. I like SO and I like ebay. I'm addicted to both. Argh, I can't choose. Um, I'll have to say this site. Ebay kind of gets on my nerves at time. You got some sellers that try to rip you off, no fun in that at all. My choice is here. Hollow 06-09-2003, 01:08 AM im banned from ebay and ive been banned from this site 2 times. i say this site is harder to resist. ~*Hannah_Lee*~ 06-09-2003, 01:41 AM Sitcomsonline, definately. I spend all of my time here, and I think I'd go crazy if I wouldn't making pictures to put in my signature. dawsongirl 06-09-2003, 01:44 AM Originally posted by BJL Sitcomsonline. The people on these boards make up 98% of my friends. Same here. Three'sCompanyrules 06-09-2003, 02:51 AM Well I don't go to Ebay, so my toughest one would be between Sitcomsonline and Huskerpedia, I'm not sure which one I could do without, both places are awesome,so it would be tough for me. Cashodeen 06-09-2003, 02:59 AM I have only gone to Ebay once; desperately looking for something they did not have! Sitcomsonline is the winner. The only website I visit more is a Mariner's site, but that's because it's my home page. animalcrackers 06-09-2003, 09:02 AM SO is the first site and sometimes the only site I come to each and everyday. It's a great place to come when I'm feeling like crap. Pitooey 06-09-2003, 09:08 AM It would have to be Sitcomsonline. I used to frequent Ebay alot but, I can't afford the shipping charges. *Melissa* 06-09-2003, 09:36 AM Really, I could tolerate going without either, but I'm gonna pick eBay because it's my homepage and I can get some stuff I want cheap there. Brandon 06-09-2003, 09:40 AM i couldn't do without either! I buy nice things on ebay (like ghosts in jars. lol. jj) and i come here and chat with others about sitcoms, and read peoples opinons on shows and other stuff. Moonlight Lady 06-09-2003, 10:13 AM Sitcoms Online without a doubt. I love it here. Penny Lane 06-09-2003, 10:17 AM Wow! That's a tough question! I use both all the time! But at least on SO I don't have to spend any money:lol: So I will choose SO!:D Tuesday Weld 06-09-2003, 10:39 AM Sitcoms Online.I don't even go to ebay. *PinkLady* 06-09-2003, 01:07 PM SO for sure, because I'm here all the time. I'm not allowed to buy stuff off the Internet, so I don't usually bother with ebay. Georgia's on my Mind 06-09-2003, 01:37 PM this is a tough one...ahh so and ebay tale up ke 80% of my online time...but probarly so...i think Stormtracker TF 06-09-2003, 03:03 PM SitcomsOnline, eBay is great but I can do without. *Pleasant Tomorrow* 06-09-2003, 03:09 PM I never go to ebay and I doubt I'd be allowed to buy anything off of the internet anyway. So definately SO. :D Chad22 06-09-2003, 03:43 PM Sitcoms Online. I Rarely ever go to Ebay, And when i do its just to look. Even if i as old enough to buy stuff on their i wouldnt, Too easy to be ripped off. PZelda 06-09-2003, 04:18 PM Both. I'm almost 18, and I've brought stuff off eBay before. I love to go on eBay and look around. :) I usually just buy stuff off half.ebay.com, their store, so I don't have to bid on anything. :D webuster 06-09-2003, 04:18 PM I'd find it hard to do without SO- even though many members of here live far away from each other, it's almost like everyone's a neighbour- or like old lady's that meet up at the same coffee shop every evening to discuss problems, anything amusing or how their day was- and it's rare that this place is disrupted by annoying hackers or junk mail posters like most messageboards usually are. Before I started posting on chit chat- I always only logged in about tape trading- that's why I haven't reached 1000 posts! Now, I rarely visit the tape trading- which got me into this sitcomsonline after days of searching for a decent trader (still haven't traded- have a paranpoia about ebay or trading with regular people). At least here you don't get ripped of like ebay. Also Sarah- why'd you get banned from here- more importantly - how'd you get banned from ebay? Alot of bizarre things are on ebay, must be hard to get banned. I wonder if anyone could start up as a pimp on ebay and get caught? Hmmm? Easy money- sell your body on ebay- xcuse me while I cut of my ear and post it to someone. Oh yeh- speaking of selling body's- I read a few months ago about a desparate student selling a part of his body to one person per piece- he didn't cut it off- you like own it just like owning an acre of moon- he writes up once in a while on how the piece is doing- I think it may only be external- things you can take a picture of to post- people actually bought it- the only thing not up for sale he claims is his *penis*. Titania 06-09-2003, 06:20 PM SO its possible to go shopping/antiquing offline, but i never would have met any of you people w/out sitcomsonline ~LadyJess~ 06-09-2003, 08:23 PM I am almost never on Ebay so defintely SO. I am on here all the time, it's a big part of my life, I feel lost the days I don't or can't come on here. AnaheimPMWitch 06-09-2003, 09:58 PM I'd say sitcoms online I dont go to E-bay I feel like they could rip you off to easily there iMO TVFactFan 06-09-2003, 10:10 PM Originally posted by AnahiemPMWitch I'd say sitcoms online I dont go to E-bay I feel like they could rip you off to easily there iMO You can't get ripped off if u know what you are doing. Sitcomwriter 06-09-2003, 10:12 PM Sitcomsonline....That's a no-brainer! -*Leah*- 06-09-2003, 10:16 PM sitcomsonline, definatley. I hardly ever go to ebay. Rockapella722 06-10-2003, 12:05 PM OMG... I dunno. Well, see, no one else here can hook me up with Rockapella out of print CDs as eBay can.... but... GAH! I'd say they'd both be damned hard to do without, but eBay slightly more. I've been using eBay for longer, too. (Sorry, TJ! I love you!!!) Cactus Jack 06-10-2003, 12:12 PM Originally posted by King TheFonz SitcomsOnline, eBay is great but I can do without. Ditto, sometimes on eBay they sell weird things LOL Evita Peron 06-11-2003, 05:42 PM I would have to say that SO is hard to be without because this site is free and eBay is not free. Although, I am addicted to eBay. :ufo: fr00ti 06-11-2003, 05:44 PM Well I like getting pics from EBay, but I dont think I could make it that long w/out SO. I'd go craaaazy  xOxMizzBrodyxOx 06-11-2003, 06:39 PM I don't go on EBay, so defiantly Sitocmsonline. SO.com is my homepage, and its the first place i see when i go online. SO.com defiantly!!! Lady T 07-06-2004, 01:17 AM E-Bay !!! Rocks..I have won a lot of neat stuff over the years; but I love Sitcoms on-Line, here is the only place on this green Earth where I can chat about my favorite classic sitcoms shows without having people go "Huh?"... Mr. Television 07-06-2004, 01:26 AM Sitcomsonline is my favorite website. It isn't even close. dandelion wine 07-06-2004, 01:31 AM Easy, Sitcomsonline! The good old days of SO are gone. robyrob 07-08-2004, 07:44 AM i have no use for eBay - thats where my wife goes to spend all our money (but we DO have an amazing collection of lamps now) Dude111 05-12-2026, 07:30 AM Def sitcomsonline! Poor Todd has put up with alot from us but he still does it :) 1960'sTVfan 05-12-2026, 08:00 AM I've had some awesome shopping experiences on Ebay. Just recently I bought a used Panasonic CRT TV, it has a 13 inch screen with a VCR built in to it. It works perfectly. I much prefer the CRT type of TV, I don't like these modern, flat screen jobs. |
