I was thinking about Santa Barbara today and realised that I couldn't remember the name of the character played by A Martinez. I used to watch the show as a really little kid. Can anybody help me. Also, who was his main squeeze on the show (both the character's name and the actress' name)?

According to IMDb, A Martinez played Cruz Castillo. The character Cruz was in love with was Eden Capwell Castillo, who was played by Marcy Walker.

Santa Barbara ran from 1984 to 1993. It was on NBC and won three Emmys for Outstanding Drama Series. I've never seen it, but it has a great theme song. ^-^

Thanks for the info. And thanks for clearing up that it was on until 1993. I was born in 1985 and so I know it was not on during the 60s or 70s.

I hope it comes back to reruns because even as a little kid I loved it!

Marcy Walker now plays on the soap opera All My Children as Adam's woman Liza. She is cute. I used to watch Santa Barbara when i was a kid all the time. Robin Wright who was the main star of the show, she played Kelly on there. She was very pretty. Is she still married to Sean Penn? A Martinez plays on a soap opera now too. Doesn't he play on Guiding Light?
