Has anyone read Ellen DeGenere's book called- my point.... and I do have one? It's meant to be really funny. Or has anyone read her mom's books? I'm going to buy Ellen's book, it's like 'The Meaning of Life According to Ellen' but I'd like to read your reviews- if you have any.

I've been a fan of Ellen for many years and I've read 'My Point......and I Do Have One'.
There's no real rhyme or reason to it but it's a great book to just pick up and read a couple of chapters whenever you feel like it. Each chapter is concerned with a different subject and each one is approached in Ellens own inimatable style.
If you've ever seen or heard any of Ellen's old stand-up shows then a lot of the material in the book will already be familiar to you. For example, the chapter about travelling by plane is practically word-for-word the same material that she used on stage in her live shows.
Having said that though, it is a very funny book and I'm glad that I bought it. If you're a fan of Ellen then you should definately read it.
