Did anyone else notice the blooper left in the DVD ep Hustling the Hustler, which TVLand reran last week? Phil Leeds, playing Buddy's brother Blackie Sorrell, got tongue-tied talking about pool tables, I think, and the blooper was left in the episode. I love these moments when they're in blooper specials, and I think I've seen this one if CBS had a blooper special last month (I know ABC and NBC both had them.), but I find them annoying and somewhat jarring when they're left in the show. Does anyone else have the same or a different opinion on the matter?

Yes, I saw that! I've noticed several of those left-in bloopers over the years. I think they left them in because they were natural sounding enough, so as not to take away from the scene. They don't bother me at all.
Just like the blooper from the same episode where Laura wants to go finish a TV program, but Rob wants her to finish the pool game. She sinks about five balls into different pockets with one shot. That wasn't supposed to happen. Not by her hand. They had a pool pro waiting off-camera to do it, and were going to edit it in later, but Mary (Laura) did it instead. Look at her face the next time to see this one. She's totally shocked, and even looks at the director for a split second! Being the pro that she is though, she quickly comes back to character.

If it's the scene where he can't say "Pool Cue", I think that was intentional. I am going to go back and watch it today and see. Thanks, Lolac
