My parents went up to Maine today and my Dad was cutting trees or whatever with my brother. Well, anyways, my Dad was shutting off the chain saw and brought it down by his leg and cut himself. Hes @ the hospital right now and they dont know if they can stitch it because he chopped off all his skin so they cant sew it. Ew! I told my mother to trash his pants but he still likes them. Meangya, they got blood stains on them and theyre ripped!!  MEN!!

Glad to hear your Dad is okay. My Dad had a close call a few days ago. He was mowing the lawn and a piece of grass or something was caught in the blades. Well, without thinking he didn't turn the mower off and felt it whir for a second and he got it out in time before anything happened to it. It bled underneath the fingernail for awhile and then went numb. He couldn't feel it for almost two hours. He's lucky he didn't break it or lose the tip of his finger.

Ewww...I'm glad he's OK. :)
My dad has a lot of close calls like that. He seriously needs to be kept away from anything that runs.

I'm glad to hear your dad is ok. I remember when I worked at Anderson Brothers for a school to work program a few years ago and this one guy who was cutting sheet metal cut his hand pretty bad and they were out of anti- bacterial stuff, so I had to run over to the grocery store across the street, and that guy left a trail of blood from the back room to the bathroom, bu tonce I git back from the store, everything was ok, but he had to go get some stiches afterwords.

Next time your Dad gets the urge to play woodsman, remind him of this little incident and tell him he can order trees online or something.
Or...
How does he feel about wearing a suit of armor?

LOl thanks everyone.. especially TJL for your advice. LTP-- yeah my Dad fell off the roof years ago. Me and my mother saw it. Know what we did? Laughed our asses off and kicked ourselves for not getting it on film. He was ok naturally- the bush softened the ground.
