Ok, I was just wondering which Three's Company girl do you like better and which one do you think is prettier?

Ooooooo i absolutely love both Joyce AND Suzanne.... but i like Suzanne better... but... I think Joyce is prettier

I think Suzanne was prettier on Three's Company and in the 70's and stuff but now I think Joyce looks better. But overall I like Joyce better

Joyce. All you have to do to see that she was better is imagine that it was her who left instead of Chrissy. There was no way the show could be as good replacing Janet. I like the Chrissy years best, but she was replacable. Janet wasn't.

As far as looks, Janet wins that too. I think Chrissy was pretty during the first two years though.

I like Suzanne better. It's not that I don't like Joyce's acting or anything like that, I just prefer Suzanne. She's done a lot of different things (Las Vegas, acting, poetry, writing books, starting her own fitness thing, etc.) and I like her in the things she's acted in. She also seems friendly and I think she's prettier [though Joyce is very pretty also] than Joyce is, especially in the '70s and '60s.

IMO Priscilla was the prettiest of them all, but between Joyce and Suzanne I would go with Joyce, especialy the later years of TC.

Hey, you are a Suzanne expert--do you know why her looks drastically started changing by season 4? Was it to make her look even more ditzy or was there another reason? Like maybe that just happened to be when she was starting to age? Because I never can get over how different she looked the first few seasons of TC compared to her last year. I know she dyed her hair even blonder, but it looks like her face changed a lot too. She looked much better in the beginning.

But out of the two, I'd say.........Joyce. I thought Joyce was really pretty in the later seasons of TC, especially with the longer hair.

I don't know exactly, but I believe I've read that it had something to do with the character becoming more ditzy and wacky, so she changed her appearance to fit the character. From pictures I've seen from that time frame, she didn't really look like Chrissy that much when off the show, with the exception of having blonder hair than she did before and wearing a little bit more make up (not the layers and layers she wore on the show).

Okay thanks. I haven't ever seen her anywhere else during season four so I couldn't be sure what was up. Those ponytails were definitely silly.

Yeah, makeup probably was what drastically changed her face. It must have been the style then, because both Joyce and Suzanne were doing it in season 4. Your avitar picture is around the time she definitely looked the best.

Hmm well I guess I like Joyce more as far as acting goes but as for looks...umm...Suzanne? lol. Joyce was really pretty in season four with her new shorter hair and her long hair was nice too. But as for these days Suzanne is much prettier than Joyce, imo. I like them both though.

I agree, that Priscilla looked the best of them all. But I like Joyce in Seasons 7 & 8 with the longer hair, and Suzanne in Seasons 1-3, without those silly ponytails, as for looking the best. IMO, between Joyce and Suzanne, it's hard to determine but I thought Suzanne looked most attractive.

Suzanne!!!!!!! Suzanne has better lookz, and I think shes a better actress too. Plus she can sing! Has anyone heard her sing before? Anyways, even though I love Suzanne, I have to give Joyce her props. She is very very beautiful and a great actress. But I thought she was prettier in the chrissy, cindy and early Terri episodes. Joyce's face kind of changed in season 7+8. Like her eyes and nose were different. Either way, Suzanne is better to me IMO! :D

As for me, I prefer Joyce DeWitt. I thought she was prettier than Suzanne, (Especially in that 4th season, ouch Suzanne), and the show couldn't be done without her there. (Look at Suzanne, she was repalced twice, and by prettier actresses.) Even Three's a Crowd did'nt work due to the lack of Joyce. So yea, my vote is Joyce.

I just started to watch TC, about a month ago, maybe less, I really really like it. One of the reasons i like it so much is b/c of Janet. She is so funny and her reactions are awsome. So my vote would def. be for Joyce Dewitt. :D

Suzanne Somers, although she did make a mistake with the contract dispute I can't help but think most of it was brought on by her husband. Joyce DeWitt's personality and grudge-holding don't seem too appealing. Sure, she got screwed over by Suzanne and John but she had to have known that's what it's like to be a Celebrity, before she became one.

So I think Suzanne Somers is better.

Joyce!! She was the best character in that series!! Chrissy, cindy, and terri got on my nerves...I liked jack too but Joyce definately stole the show in every seen. It's too bad she never got the credit that she deserved.

IMO, it varies from seasons. In seasons 1-3, I thought Suzanne was prettier and a better character. She wore very little makeup, no bleached-blonde hair or pigtails, and her character acted more naive, rather than just dumb, and occasionally like a child. I think she looked the hottest in the episode "Roper's Car."


Janet was better looking throughout the remaining seasons.

I think both girls were cute. BUT i prefer Joyce over Suzanne. She was the cutest, smartest, sexiest girl on the show.

I could never decide between them! They are both so great and were both equally important to the show! Joyce is a sweetheart and just so professional! Suzanne has been through so much , and played a great "dumb blonde!" Even though they had a feud awhile back , I never took sides to that either. Joyce was right for getting upset , and Suzanne just wanted more money for her work , it's not like noone asks for a raise! Even though her idea for a raise was a bit ... well ... ALOT!
But if I really HAVE to choose , I'd pick ... Joyce! :D
