If so, then wouldn't the first game have been "Super Mario Bros."

But, I also remember the cartridge that had that game on it as well as "Duck Hunt."

You are right. Super Mario Brothers was the first game released by Nintendo in 1985. Super Ghouls N Ghosts was released in 1991 for the Super Nintendo and was the sequal to the popular arcade game Ghouls N Ghsots.
