I'm not into psychics at all, but Montel's legit. He likes her. I really question it, yet I doubt everyone in the audience is staged. She was just on Northwest Afternoon, a seattle based talk show, yesterday. I've been to her website before and some of the stuff is outta limits, but she seems to be right on with people's personal questions.

EDITED: I don't know what I was thinking when I said she may have been hired by the FBI in the past. I know she used to be hired to help with cases, but I don't think it was the FBI.

I've read a few of her books and found them interesting. If I met her and she could tell me a few things about myself she had no way of knowing, of course I would believe she is authentic. As for now, I will not say she is a fraud unless proven.

So you think that those people in the audiences are hired? She used to go on Montel once a week. That would be one big conspiracy! But like you, I am hesitant to believe it myself.

I keep missing her on those talk shows. I would like to see her on one of those. I don't think the people in the audience are hired. If so, it would leak out to the public sooner or later and Sylvia's reputation would be severely damaged.

BTW, I also like the books by Mary T. Browne and Betty J. Eadie.

So true. I was going to mention that as well. She's been on Montel for quite a while now, and if there was some shady business going on, we would have known about it. Even saying "hired" was a little strong. But I do think they pick random people out of the audience to ask a question that Sylvia had no prior knowledge about. You should see her on Montel sometime. I don't think she is on their weekly anymore, but I believe she still is a guest occationally. It's pretty interesting!

I don't really tend to believe in psychics...so she doesn't seem legit to me.

Same here, no psychics are legit to me, I wouldn't be suprised if the audience in those talk shows are hired or they told the psychic there story before the show begins.

Yeah, thats probably true. I have saw her on Montel, and they make her seem really believable, but I just don't believe that people can know things like that!

On a past episode of Montel during the past presidential elections, Montel asked Sylvia who would win the election. She said Gore. Draw your own conclusions.

I don't know if she's a fraud or not, other than that incident, I don't know of any other time she's been wrong.

She said in 2000 Letterman would call it quits... of course now I believe her 2000 predictions are not on her site, use the wayback machine though to go back and see em...

From what I've seen, psychics can sometimes tell individuals things they couldn't know, but as for predictions about world events, they don't do well at all.

I have seen her on Montel, and, yea, he does seem to believe in her. She is interesting to watch. I have read some of her books and many of her ideas feel "right" to me.

Now, no psychic claims 100% accuracy, but she does seem to have some gift. I had a friend who called her for a phone interview and she told me that Sylvia didn't ask her for anymore information than her birthday and that of her husband (of whom my friend wanted information). My friend said she was amazingly accurate and gave her advice about how to cure her heartburn (my friend never told her anything to let her know of any physical problems), and Sylvia told my friend about her husband's terrible childhood (with specifics) which was accurate.

I don't understand why Sylvia charges so much ($300 per reading, which I believe is 1/2 hour) and why she said she would allow herself to be tested but has not done it yet. That raises a red flag.

$300 is a lot, but according to her site she charges $750 in person...

Holy Smokes!!! It pays to use the phone then, doesn't it!!! Why in the world would she charge so much that only the rich could use her services? That doesn't seem to jive with what she says in her books. It would be interesting to talk to her one on one just to ask her these questions. What do you think of her church?

Well she shares some of the same beliefs as I do... Though I am still confused about my beliefs, she says aliens are real, says their is no hell.. etc...

Yes, I certainly agree about the no hell theory, that has never made sense to me even before I ever heard of Sylvia. One thing I find a bit strange is her saying there are unicorns and dragons on the "other side." What do you think of that?

It is just hard to know what to think. I believe in many of her teachings, but can she be a money-hungry fake and still teach the "way it is, " or are the churches right and we are just wishful thinkers?

Well, whether or not Sylvia is a fraud, I still don't believe in the God, Heaven and Hell versions the churches tote.

Well on Montel and Larry King, at times she does seem good with personal readings but... Their are times of course when she missed... Such as on Larry King, Someone had called in and she asked if they knew someone named a certain name and that they were around this person who called in or something.... She asked about family and stuff, none of them had this name, This person had no clue who it was.. she then said "Anyway..." and moved on...

Not to mention her holding pay per views charging 20 bucks where you can watch her... thats obviously her wanting money... I don't care if she does say most of it doesn't go to her..

I watched Sylvia on a Montel show and one of the audience members stood up and told Sylvia she was terrified because something in the house was trying to hurt her baby (toddler). At different times it had covered her baby's head up with blankets, put down the side of her crib, and had put a cup of, it was either bleach or nail polish roomer, on the floor when the baby was crawling around. (Personally, I would have been out'ta there!). The woman was obviously very upset. I don't know if Sylvia helped her or not, because all she said was "Spirits don't hurt people, don't worry." Then told her to sprinkle some stuff around her house. It would be interesting to follow up on some of this stuff.

Now how about Miss Cleo, did anyone get past the fake Jamacian accent long enough to ever give her a call? She still has a website I believe, but once you get into it, it will be forever on your computer, you can't delete her!

I never believed in channeling or psychics, but I think Sylvia is one of few that are legit. Having had a few metaphysical experiences myself, I can see that hers is a real talent or gift. Check out her website.

Would you be willing to tell us about your experiences and was it Sylvia that helped you?
